Rafael Gerena is Founder and CEO of Instruxo LLC, an international business consulting firm. Previously, Rafael was an award-winning journalist and economics reporter for The Wall Street Journal in New York. He was part of a Wall Street Journal reporting team nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for a series about global poverty. His economics reporting covered topics including Federal Reserve monetary policy, interest rates, inflation, productivity and employment. As a reporter, Rafael appeared on network television, and he spoke on radio. He has also worked as an adviser for the City of Orlando, where he conducted economic research and wrote speeches for Orlando’s Mayor.
